Where are all the GP Mamas?

I've lurked long enough to know that some people had issues with GP Mamas posting on GP about their pregnancies but why are GP mamas not posting at all anymore? I thought that there was some sort of resolution where there would be warning in the subject for those it would offend or bother.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse or open a can of worms, I just think the dynamic of the board has changed so much since all the regs got their BFPs and stop posting. Sometimes its so dead in here you can almost hear crickets chirping.

If I understand correctly, there is a GP Mama board as well now. So they post over there instead. Some lurk here and post when they think they can contribute. Just know I miss them and it sucks they're gone!

Exactly, not only do they give us hope, but they also kept this board alive with their wit and occasional snark. Also, even though I wasn't actively posting before they left, its nice to see updates, etc.

I think most of still lurk and answer posts when we feel we can contribute. But it was made pretty clear that GP Mamas should take a step back, so that's what I think has happened.

For me, personally, I'm still around and lurk, and I try to help when I can. I just don't want to be a post whore and definitely don't want to AW my pregnancy in any way.

I can see how it could. But I'm also wondering because I must've missed it, was the negative views of GP mamas posting the majority of the posters on the board? It seems to me that I've read a lot lately of posters saying they miss the GP mamas. In other words, COME BACK!

Also, there were ways that the GP mamas contributed without AW their pregnancies. Monkey would do her QOTD and stuff like that which would fill in the day when the boards were dead.

There was way way way too much debate on what we could and couldn't discuss and we were asked to take a step back. And we listened. I post on "High Risk" and lurk over here just in case I ever get paged or can be helpful.

If they really weren't welcomed here - why is the GP Mamas post the one post a week that ALWAYS hits 3 pages of comments?

I don't think other GP girls agree with you. We were asked to step back so we are. Would you rather we were banished?? I'm not sure what the "perfect" amount of posting is nor does anyone.
