Hi ladies, We have done our healing and we have our follow up apt on Monday to make sure that everything was released since I choose the natural M/c. We will meet with our doctor to see if he has any answers.
I have a question because I keep reading everything and im a little confused on the difference between a Chamical Pregnancy and a Blighted Ovum?
The Doctor (This was not my Doctor, since I did not have an apt my doctor was not in the office and could not see me
) Who my DH and I felt was not too educated told us our m/c was called a chemical pregnancy. However I keep reading that if you have a sac then its not considered a chemical Pregnancy.
Here was our recap: M/C at 6 wk 5 days when the sac was not developing as it should and was showing at 4 wks, no heart beat.
first beta Hcg levels 565, then it lowered to 195.
Would you call this a chemical pregnancy?
Thank you for any advice, or answers

Re: Chemical Preg Vs Blighted Ovum
I have been asking a similar question to myself. I am new to understanding all of this, but if you had a sac but no embryo I do think it would be called a BO.
Even though my early loss was different that yours (I had an embryo that passed, but no US before that), it is important to me that it is labeled properly. I just need that. It sounds like you do, too.
For me, I am just calling mine an early loss. Yes, I was very early but I did have physical evidence of PG that was developing, not just a + test and then a - test, which to me seems like a "true" CP.
My doctor seemed oblivious, too. So frustrating! I hope your f/u goes smoothly.
From what I understand, or at least what my doctor told me about my BO, you are pregnant with a blighted ovum. We got pregnant but there was something wrong with the egg or sperm that caused my body to stop the pregnancy. We had a sac, the cells started to divide and then stopped.
From my friend who had a CP it seems to be an empty sac where a baby never started. Thus, chemical, the hormones are there, but no baby.
I hope that help. Others with more knowledge, please correct me!
