How much are you charging people for taking photographs? One of the parents at my daycare wants me to take photos of her girls, and I'm at a loss of what to charge her, as I've never been paid for this before. I would just be giving her a disk of the edited images on it, so no printing involved. She can't afford to go crazy, and I don't really want to take a lot of money from her.

    I just paid $50 for a lady to do my pics. She is just starting. She does have a website though that we have to order our pics from. So, since you are giving her the disk, maybe $50-75.

    I have heard of people charging a small "sitting fee" for doing them but giving a CD of all the pictures taken.  My sitter does this and she charges $50 for her services.  She doesn't have a business yet but it helps her set up her portfolio and such.
