Hey chica!!!! How are you doing? I feel like a stranger on this board. I haven't been here much at all recently. I just started work yesterday so I've been super busy.

Hey there!!! We're doing well! I've been lurking on the 6-12 board a lot and was slightly obsessed with the Charlaine Harris Dead until Dark books, so I've been off the boards recently. If you like Twilight or True Blood, you should totally read the books (if you haven't already!). What is your new job? And where in Cali are you? DH is interested in a job in LA, but we think I'd have to go back to work if we moved there.
And, thanks, your siggy pic is precious, too! Love that monkey shirt! And, how cool that it is uv protective AND cute! I only seem to find solid ones...
I didn't start a new job.....I should have said that I just started BACK to work. I'm a teacher so I had the summer off. Now it is back to the same old, same old.
We live a little north of San Diego. It is soooooo beautiful out here but very expensive. That is why both DH and I work. I suppose if we just rented an apartment I wouldn't have to work. But we bought a house a few years ago so that means two incomes are a MUST. That would be cool if you moved out here....we could meet up in the middle. I'd love to meet little babyflamingo in person....he is so cute!
And I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen or read Twilight or the others you mentioned. They sound interesting, I just haven't had the time to sit down! I'm staying up a little late tonight bumping because DH is out of town for the week.
Awesome! My mom is a teacher and she started back to school today (4th grade). Tis the season for it! DH and I moved from NYC to DFW last December so, among a few other reasons, we could afford for me to stay home. However, we tend to be nomadic (moved 5 times in 7 years) and he's found another great job prospect, but LA wouldn't really work for our budget if I keep staying home! We'll see. WIth babyflamingo, we'd like to put down some roots, but I don't know if that will ever happen! It would be nice to meet you guys, too! Your little guy is such a cutie!!!
No worries, I just thought I remembered you being another Twihard on the board. If you like vampire books, or just fun humor, they really are a good series.
