Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

does your LO flip the tray off the high chair?

This is a trick he has been working on for months but really mastered in the last 2 weeks.  Once he is done eating he looks me straight in the face and sends the tray flying.

We were at friends this weekend and they have the same high chair.  She couldn't believe it when River did this.  Her DS is almost 2 and has never once even tried.

My floors need to be mopped.  often.

  • Maybe it's time to move to a booster seat?  The table is a lot more difficult to flip.  Big Smile

  • Yes, DD started this this week.
  • Yes. Half the time we've stopped using the plastic cover and just use the wood tray without the cover.

  • Yup. And today a tiny piece of plastic broke off the bottom side of the tray. I am so glad I found it before she tried to eat it. I am thinking I should call the company (Eddie Bauer) and maybe they will hook me up some how? I am concerned about it being a safety hazard!!

I think they'd probably tell you that its not meant to be tossed on the floor, whether all kids do it or not :) But it's worth a try!

  • DS does this all the time. We dont have the tray on anymore. It drives me nuts
