What are you dressing your LO up for halloween? I need ideas.

I just posted on our local board, I had this idea on Saturday:

Spencer as Gilligan-with the white pants, red shirt, sailor hat

Cooper as the Skipper-with white pants, blue shirt, sailor hat

and me as Ginger, Mary Ann or the millionaire's wife. Jay can be the professor or the millionaire.

Do you and your husband want a trio of outfits or just one for M?

I have a hand-me-down mickey mouse costume that I plan to use if it fits her...I will just add a red skirt and bow to make her minney mouse

I have always wanted to dress my baby up as a pea in the pod, but I think that Jacob is going to be too big for that costume then. I think its for a smaller baby - he's a long little dude and I think he'll be sitting by then. Sigh...

Now I need to find something else! I'm thinking some kind of animal!

I think Katen wants to be a kitty. That should be easy. She was a ladybug last year.

If Ana is here I think it's fitting that she's an Ana Banana.

If she's still baking then I'm going to pull out the shirt that I made to wear when I was pregnant with Katen at halloween. It's a black sweatshirt with white skeleton bones and a little baby skeleton in the belly.

I'm hoping to convince DH to dress up as a monkey and dress up the LO as a banana! He'll be only a few weeks old, so we'll only visit both of our parents. Unless it's cold, then we'll probably just stay in and not worry about it!

I want to dress him up like a bag of M&M's. My sister gets a catalog of costumes she gets my niece and nephew's costumes from. I'll take a look in there for other ideas.

I am thinking sock monkey.

This was posted on 12-24 months, last night. And today I priced out the socks. Also if I use a fleece sleeper DS already has and wool socks he should be lots warm enough to go outside.

I think Oliver is going to go as a martini. I plan to knit him a hat that looks like a green olive w/a pimento, then strap one of those clear plastic dog collars around his waist and put him in white tights with a clear plastic plate cut in half stuck to his feet. It'll probably only be good for a picture or 2, but what more do you need for a 5 month old?

maybe a butterfly or a kitten. She has an adorable bubble bee costume but it is still big I think. I am LOVING the sock monkey now. LI what catalog is that with the costumes? I would love to check it out. Last year she was a sack of potatoes b/c she was right around 10lbs .
