Heartbeat?? When did you hear it?

I'm just curious to find out from others - how far along were you in your pregnancy when you first heard the heartbeat on the doppler? I have an appointment this Friday, and I'll be 11 weeks along and not sure if they'll even check for it.

they will check for a HB at every appt. You're far enough along that they should be able to pick it up on a doppler. I heard DD#1's HB at 5wks 5day with vaginal U/S, and I think about 10wks with a doppler.

10 weeks and 3 days.

They told me before doing it though that it may be too early. But we did get to hear it.

I heard it when I went in for my NT Scan at 11w 4d. You should be able to hear it when you go in on Fri. Tell them you want to hear it to make sure

My doctor's office doesn't check for the heartbeat until after 12 weeks. They didn't do any type of ultrasound and normally don't unless there's an issue. The first heartbeat would be at 12 weeks and first sonogram (if you chose to skip the NT scan) would be at 18-20 wks.

We haven't heard it yet, but we have seen it in an u/s twice now. I can't wait to hear it at our next appointment (I will be 14 weeks then).

The heartbeat can be heard as early as 6 weeks, but my doctor doesn't check for it until your first ultrasound at 12 weeks.

10 weeks and 4 days. The doctor said he had a 60% chance of finding it. He could have been making up that number so I didn't get my hopes up but he found it.

I didn't hear it until 10w3d.

Last Monday... so I was 11w1d... I saw the HB at 7w2d, didn't hear it until my 2nd dr. appt last week

I thought I was 5 weeks, 3 days today but I went for an ultrasound and they said the baby measured at about 5 more days than that, so 6 weeks, 1 day. I saw the heartbeat on the screen which was cool, but have not heard it yet - can't wait!

I got to see it at 6 w and 8 w w/ ultrasound.

I am going back in a week for my 12 week appt and we are going to hear it then. I am veeeeeeeeeeeery excited.

We saw the heartbeat on ultrasound at our first appt at 7wk3d. I have another appointment in 2 weeks and will be 11wk3d then. I'm hoping that we will be able to hear it with the doppler then

Heard it at 9w2d with a doppler. My doc said it was unlikely that we'd hear it but we did! I rented a doppler and have been able to hear it with that as well.
