Two Under 2

anyone have the baby trend sit and stand?

our DD's will be 22 months apart and DD #1 just started to really hate the stroller, so i'm thinking a double stroller is probably not worth it at this point.  i'm now looking into the sit and stand, but not sure if DD will be small for it at 22 months?  Also, does anyone know if the chicco car seat fits this stroller?

Re: anyone have the baby trend sit and stand?

  • We bought the Sit N' Stand double stroller for the same reasons you described. DD will be 22 months when the baby comes, and while she's getting tired of the stroller I know she won't want to stand the whole time we're at a place like the zoo, so I like the option of another seat so if she needs to nap she can. :) RIght now it's being used by our babysitter who has an 8 month old son and DD every day.

  • We just bought the Joovy Ergo Sit'n'stand for the same reason but the benefit of the Ergo is that you can put the infant seat on the back side so the toddler can have the front seat for a bit longer if need it.

Plus the quality of the Ergo is also better then the older models and the comparable brands.

The Chicco does fit the Ergo?

  • Yes, I have the Baby Trend Sit N Stand and a Chicco car seat.  It fits great on it.  Just be sure to remove the snack tray from the front part and the seat fits perfectly.

My DC's are 19 mos apart, so DS was 19 mos old when we got the stroller.  He was not too small for it and he loves it.  He doesn't really ever stand (his choice) just sits so far.  I figure he may stand more as he gets older.  But he loves it as it gives him more freedom to get down and walk some, and sit when he is tired.  I think he would hate being confined to a regulary type stroller seat at this point.

I highly recommend this stroller.  And the price is quite reasonable!
