It's amazing what throwing a bucket of water on your kid can do

She kept getting mad & screetching at everything.  It was hot.  She was hungry, and it was naptime.

I took her on the back porch & doused her LOL  (she knew it was coming and agreed to it, so hush).  It was more than slightly theraputic for mommy as well.  Took her back in, stuffed her full of food, no more screaming.  Woot.

    for some reason I was thinking it was because you needed to get them out of bed...you know something mom would do to her teenager lmao

    I saw your post yesterday. M's ocd has been kinda level.  I mean doors still need to be shut and if 1 light is on all of them have to be on.  Her new thing is the bathroom door.  I leave it open for her but she shuts its and then when she needs to go potty she gets pissed because the door is shut....she cant open it.  I got 1 of those foam thingies you put on the door so it dont shut all the way and holy hell she had a huge meltdown because she couldnt shut the bathroom door.

    I consider myself lucky that those are the only things she's OCD about and honestly I think its just mild and hope it stays that way.  Sometimes I wonder if its best to help them "fight" that habit or just let it go and let them do what feels good to them.

    LOL funny.

    We recently planted a new tree, which needs to be watered at least once daily. Gina was starting her nonsense yesterday, and my H took her outside to 'water the tree'. He hosed her down, and she was much better :)
