Pregnant after a Loss

When will it end?

So I spent the first 6 -8 weeks feeling pretty ok with afternoon queasiness. Week 9-10 I was back on track and even went for a run. But since week 11 started I have been so sick. I have gotten sick at least once a day. I feel like I have to keep a steady stream of food going in so that nothing comes out. All day yesterday while we were at Target and the grocery store I felt so sick. Maybe I am just weak but I don't think I can take much more.

Please tell me there is an end in sight.

Oh don't get me wrong I am happy to be pregnant and that m/s is a sign of a healthy pregnancy... I just really want to enjoy this and so far it hasn't been easy.

Re: When will it end?

  • There is an end in sight! My dr warned me just as I thought it would get better, it would probably get worse. I know...totally sucks. I couldn't go to the grocery store until about 15 weeks, but I stopped getting sick long before that...just queasy for a while. Just keep eating frequent meals and rest. I know I could have slept the entire first tri if you would have let me! Hang in there...it will get better!!

  • I kinda felt the same way.  Week 10-11 I was ok, week 12 I felt like poo.  Week 13 is pretty great.  I'm hoping that yucky feeling went away for good now.
  • I am also just over 12 weeks and am still getting some naseau - I have never really been sick so to speak, but in this last week have felt more queazy than previous weeks... I was hoping by now it would have subsided.  Like you, I am happy to be pg - just wondering when to expect better days....

  • I know for some women that relief isn't until they deliver but I hope that we aren't those people.  I have been sick since I found out I was pg and it has gotten worse over the last week or so.  I am, like you, waiting for the light at the end of my tunnel.  Hope we are both feeling better soon!!!

  • I was the same way around the same time.  Even now, I still get it but not nearly as often.  For myself, I know that I sometimes take too long to eat and it makes me feel awful.  I'm trying to be better about that.  Just don't let your belly get empty.  Hope it gets better soon!
