Crazy stuff coming out of me (TMI)

So...I thought I lost my mucus plug on Friday (large, gelantinous lump of goo came out, very clear in color). Then on Saturday, more goo came out - a fairly large piece (like the size of my pinky finger) and it was pink and clear. And then last night (I'm so sorry this is so descriptive), even MORE goo came out that was bright red, clear and really dark red in places. Now, everytime I wipe, it's either clear brown discharge or reddish-pink discharge. Bloody, but not like I'm actually bleeding.

Is this the bloody show, or just more mucus plug? I guess I'm curious b/c everything I've read says mucus plug = no way to tell re: labor, but the bloody = labor within a day or two.

Sounds like the first globs were the mucus plug and the bloody one was the bloody show.

Sounds encouraging at least. You can always call and ask, it wouldnt hurt. GL!

I don't have first hand knowledge on this, but I am guessing if you are continuing to have bloody discharge it is probably bloody show.

Sounds like bloody show. I had the same thing right before I went into labor with my first DD. I saw the beginings of bloody show around 8 p.m. and went into labor the next day around noon. Good luck!

mmm mucus plug.

My body has been trying to reform mine for a week now (since my water broke). ?So I get that trail of mucus a few times a day. ?Mine isn't bloody though.
