Any medical people on?

I went to urgent care yesterday because I have tonsillitis caused by something other than strep (did a quick strep test).  The doc there said that he could feel my spleen, but not how big it is. I go back for mono blood tests on Monday, but I actually feel pretty good.  I'm not even tired, so I highly doubt it's mono.  Could anything NON-serious be causing my spleen to enlarge.  So far my googling has diagnosed me with Lymphoma and Hodgkn's Disease!

    And just to be clear, I'm NOT freaking out and thinking it's actually something bad.  Just wondering if it's normal!

    It depends on if you consider mono serious or not.  Your spleen filters your blood so there is a number of reasons it could be enlarged, mono being one of them.
