Maybe TMI...but this is an unpleasant side effect...

I feel like I'm getting varicose veins in my lady bizniz.

I can't check really, for obvious reasons, but sometimes it just HURTS down there!

Oh...the joys of pregnancy.

    The nurse just discussed this at our parenting class. She said it's ridiculously painful. Sorry this is happening--I hope it gets better! Have you asked your doc about it?

    I did - she didn't check though, she just nodded and said it was totally normal.   I took a visit to L&D last week to do a leg u/s to look for clots (all clear) so she didn't have much advice to give.

    I'm sorry that sounds awful!!!! I have them ALL over my hips and they are sad to look at but fortunately not painful.

    This has been my biggest side effect of the pregnancy.  I have them all over my entire legs AND "up there".  It's totally normal.  It just sucks, though.
