I'm ashamed and embarrassed to admit that this never occurred to me. But holy crap, it makes sense. I buy undies from VS that who knows how many people have touched. Ew. Changing my ways after reading this .............

I had a holiday job at VS a few years ago and learned that not only is everything handled and touched excessively, but the returned merchandise landed back on the shelf as long as it looked clean enough. Sometimes it was pretty clear that things had been worn, but it was still placed on the shelf. Yuck. So yes, always, always, always wash before wearing.
Not that I don't wash clothes before wearing them but...
You drink columbian coffee? Eat real chocolate? Then you've enjoyed the taste of mmm mmm cockroaches. Or did you think that big corporations are willing to shell out to have someone pick through all those beans? It just seems a little shortsighted to focus on one is all.
I once walked out of a maternity store wearing a pair of panties from there because the ones I was wearing were not maternity and were bugging the crap out of me.
Read my blog!
Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!
I wash everything prior to wearing it and always have.
Also, if I didn't before I would have after working in a clothing store. Icky things happen to clothes before you buy them. Like bugs in new shipments of clothing or period blood spots in the crotch of pants (from people trying them on), etc etc. Ew.
I still can't believe people don't wash clothes when they get them new. I thought everyone did, then the other day my friend said she doesn't and I was so grossed out.
Re: mmkay, 'fess up you sickos.
just the thought of not washing them makes my neither-regions itch.
but i can't even wear a t-shirt without washing it first.
