Let's clear some stuff up re: cliques

1) There is more than one group of people who talk offline.

2) Lately it seems that all the animosity towards ALL groups who talk offline is directed toward the GTG group. There is no basis or reason for this.

Comments such as:

The clique needs to get over the EFLO shiit, the Auchick shiit and move on.
Are unfounded,have no evidence to back them up and are, frankly, ridiculous.

3)I can only speak to what I know, but I know that the GTG group has met IRL, talks daily, and was not established to talk about people on the bump, nor do they daily. Yes, it would be a lie and we all know it that there aren't the occassional "hey did you see______?" or whatever but there is NO maliscious, conspiring going on. To think that we do get together and conspire or talk about you is both foolhardy and ego-centric.

4) If we want to discuss "groups" I know for a fact one group here creates, shares, and attacks with AEs. I also know for a fact is is not the GTG group if you are pointing fingers.

5) Not telling people you don't know and don't trust where you are going on vacation does not make you in a clique. It makes you smart. You know, unless you want a group of guys from Michigan to crash your party and call you names.

6) If we are discussing the GTG group I can tell you that most people don't even get on here anymore. If they did some of you wouldn't even know the names anyway. So, again, to sit around discussing a place no one even spends time in anymore is just stupid.

And just to prove how unexciting this group you are all getting your panties in a twist about it, I'll give you a sample discussion, names omitted, obvi. Try not to get too excited now, literally the last things said:

    Garnet is obviously talking about Merks, Luky, Kristin, Cubs and me on the EFLO and Au thing. If people want to target the GTG group because it's easier, that's lame. No one that has "argued" has had any trouble being direct so I don't know why this uproar seems to fall on you guys.

    I could not care less who is going where with whom when.  I could NOT CARE LESS who talks to whom and what they talk about.  I have my own set of intwebz friends that I cherish.  We are friends IRL and meet on our own. 

    What I do care about is how there is a certain group of girls that will not leave well enough alone.  I do come to this message board in hopes of chatting it up with some really fabu, like minded mammas and perhaps a little harmless banter.  All in good fun.  But lately, its not been fun.  Its been nasty.  I feel the need to defend someone every day, because, like it or not, when the accusations are compeltely false and really really hateful, its hard not to care.  Flameworthy or not, my e-friends aren't just "E" friends.  I have formed real bonds with a few girls here and it sucks when they make one of them out to be a piece of trash.  All accusations are unfounded and blown out of porportion.  Its sad.  And you know you would feel the same should the shiit had been pointed towards one of your e/IRL buds.

    I hope the GTG girlies have a blast!!  If the rumors are true, a carribean cruise sounds so fun.  I am looking forward to the super fun GTGs I have in the near future as well.

    that is EXACTLY why i put it in my ticker.  not for the reason that, oh let's say, I WAS EXCITED ABOUT IT.  why do people who are going to disneyland or randomdestinationspot put a ticker in their siggy?  is it to rub in other people's faces?  you do not win on this one.
