always huge in the bum? This is my third pregnancy, and this pisses me off every time I have to buy maternity clothes. Just because I'm pregnant, it does not mean my ass is gigantic.
I was just thinking this today as well. I probably have a bigger butt than most woman and the butt on these jeans just feel huge on me. It kind of makes me feel good, maybe my butt isn't as big as I think it is.

I found a pair of maternity jeans at Kohls that actually fit SO well. They don't even fall down. I've tried everywhere else before, Gap were my favorite but still hung off my butt and didn't stay up well.
You know, I haven't had that problem, but my cheeks have always been abundant It's nice to know there is actually some advantage to that.

Chemical pregnancy on June 2012.
This most makes me think I have a large butt since I've never had this problem.
I don't have this problem either. Some of them are a little big for me below the waistband in the front, but the butt always fits fine. And, most of my maternity pants are one size larger than my typical size because they were hand-me-downs from my SIL.
my problem is the opposite...I can't find pants that fit me in the crotch. Seriously....I've never had this problem before. I'm a teacher and school starts in two weeks...so far I have yet to find a pair of pants that fit...I'm screwed!
Re: Why are maternity clothes...
Seriously, or have so much stretch in the jeans that after like an hours you are constantly pulling them up.
