Dh and I started our first interviews last night. Why am I horrible at asking questions?! I do it for a living. I remember things I want to ask after they leave. Anyways DH loved the first one and now I need to talk him into seeing the others tonight.
Re: Started the nanny process...
I know what you mean... I always remember more questions after we leave the doctors office...
well good luck with the nanny!
Good luck!
Definitely see as many as possible even if just to secure your decision. Plus, it is important to have a back up or two because even if someone is awesome with you and DH, seeing them handle and interact with your newborn may make you see things differently (though hopefully not!). It would be nice to know you have a backup plan just in case.
If you dont mind me asking, how much will you be paying for a nanny? Right now, LO is set to go to daycare at a whopping $360/wk.
Now, I'm thinking it might be worth it to just get a nanny.
Holy Crap Kim! I thought my local kindercare was expensive. Ours is $317/week and I thought that was robbery! To answer Linz's question for her they are $12-15 per hour depending on the nanny. She has a great referral service that she sent me to and I am just starting the process now. I can email you the contact she sent me if you want just let me know.
