Our 5 month-old son always manages to fall asleep with a cloth or bib pulled over his face. I've watched him deliberately do it, so I know it's not a fluke. I assume it's a comfort thing (making things cozy, like inside the womb), but wondering if this is "normal." Does anyone else see this with their babies?
Re: pulling blanket/bib/burp cloth over the face?
My son does this too. He has to have either his lovey or a burp cloth to fall asleep. He pulls it over his face and sometimes rubs it on his face. I let him fall asleep with it and then take it out of the crib once his is out.
DD doesn't do this yet but I think that she will since she pretty much passes out when her bear's butt is rubbed on her face - see below (she's so cute!) I think this will be her lovie.
