2nd Trimester

Baby kicking Hurt?

So, I am so overjoyed that I finally feel LO kick (I have an anterior placenta and just started feeling the little kicks for the first time!).

But, I am wondering if what I am feeling are really kicks.  They are about 4 inches below my belly button and sometimes they can really hurt.  Like my whole body feels it.  Sometimes they feel like they are right down in my pelvic area too.  I can't imagine what else this would be....but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this around 23-24 weeks.

TIA!

Re: Baby kicking Hurt?

  • Round ligament pain? When I feel baby move it is like more of a flick at times it is like a little annoying, but never painful to where I feel it throughout my body.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

  • ME! Mine sits lower to begin with.  I think she's practicing karate in there b/c she kicks my bladder so hard (and over and over and over).  In the morning when I'm just waking up in the worst.
  • Thanks!  I only had tapping up until the first big kick at 23 weeks.  Now they hurt!  You can't feel a thump when you have round ligament pain.
