Well, we go back to the eri tomorrow morning to see what our LO's kidney looks like... Hopefully it has not grown enough to crowd the rest of his organs because then we would be looking at quickly delivering and then for him to have the kidney removed... However, most likely we will be referred down to University of Washington to have the kidney aspirated to test the fluid (see if it is a blockage or dysplatic). I am not looking forward to that because it is similar to an amnio except they have to puncture baby too in order to remove the fluid from him bad kidney... Hoping not to go into labor with the procedure too... I am just nervous because no matter what we find tomorrow, we begin growth scans to prepare for early delivery... YIKES!
Re: ANOTHER U/S tomorrow
Good luck and best wishes! I can't imagine what you are going throught but be strong and know that the Dr.'s are doing what is best for you and your baby!
Good luck!
If you do have the procedure, don't panic too much. I just focused on my breathing during the procedure to not stress LO out anymore, and didn't do much for the rest of the weekend to relax. I had contractions the first day or so, but everything calmed down after that, and that was at about 24 weeks. Weekly OB appts stink, but at least we get to see LO a lot more
Good luck again, and I hope everything goes well and you do not need the procedure at all!
