19 week ultrasound?

I never had one that early for the "20 week" ultrasound. has anybody had one that early and was able to tell the sex??

I had mine at 17w 2 days aand found out we are having a boy!!

Generally, the sex is clearly accurate at around 16 weeks on ultrasounds now. I had my U/S at 19wks even, and it's a boy!

19 weeks is fine and you will be able to see the sex--assuming LO cooperates!

The "big" U/S is generally done anytime between 18-20 weeks.

Sex can be told at 16, sometimes even earlier, even though stubborn people will argue you to the grave about this. The "20 week scan" is for anatomy. They don't care if you're having a boy or girl. They're checking for other things and making sure the baby is growing correctly. they are done between 18-22 weeks. I had mine yesterday (even though I already knew it was a boy). You will most def be able to tell if he/she is cooperating
