2nd Trimester

DH finally got to feel the baby move...last night.

It seems every night, without fail as I am in bed chilling out, my LO likes to have a party in my ute.  He likes to roll, kick, bounce, etc while I am laying down, ready to close my eyes and go to sleep.

DH snuggled up to me and put his hand on my belly.  Our LO decided to do what I call is a "kung fu" kick because it feels strong enough where I tend to put my hand on my belly everytime he does this.  (It also makes me giggle).

DH felt that and went "WHOA! What was that?"  I told him that was Andrew (our LO) kicking.  DH then got his face close to my belly and said  "Drew! Drew! Do it again for Daddy! Gimme a kick!".  Well, Drew obliged and DH decided he wanted to "play" with LO.

That is when I said...honey...its sleepy time. I will sleep (which I can't when my LO is kicking me like that) and you play with Drew.

DH was so fascinated and thrilled.  So was I, but I was sleepy. lol

Yay for DH!SmileBig Smile

  • Me to, the LO always moves and kicks and the Hubby always misses it. he only felt it once so far while we were at the movies.
  • I can't wait!!  DH said he felt the baby once, but I'm not sure he really did.  I think he was just tired of telling me he didn't feel anything.

  • Congrats!  Isn't it great when our DHs can finally feel the baby too?!
  • I still haven't felt our LO yet, so I'm super jealous of you. I think that I'm looking more forward to the day DH gets to feel him instead of just me. It will be so amazing to be able to share it between us. Especially for him, since he missed it with my stepdaughter (his 1st child).
  • Aww that's so exciting! We can't wait for DH to finally feel little Madeleine. I've been feeling her for a few weeks now and I feel like he is missing out.

  • Mine just felt it last night too! It's so fun.
  • DH really wants to feel the movement that I feel, but I told him it will be at least another month.  Possibly longer, since I'm larger and have an anterior placenta.

My baby seems to kick and play non stop when I lay down. I always grab my man's hand and put on my belly. He doesnt seem too excited, but I am Big Smile
