Why is it when you are talking to someone about being pregnant they look at your hand to see if you are married?  NO, I'm not married...thanks for looking!!!  This chick is still for sale!

    I don't know. . . It wouldn't occur to me to check and see if the person is married or not.  Besides, a lot of women have swelling and have to take their wedding bands off!

    This!  I couldn't wear my wedding rings last time I was pg because my fingers were always so swollen.

    A teacher at my school did this last year so the parents wouldn't judge her.  I didn't think it should matter.

    AMEN!! although my boyfriend and I are planning on tying the knot, I want to wait until after the baby is born. I feel like as soon as someone notices I'm pregnant (kinda hard to hind the bump now, hehe), they automatically look to see if I have a ring. arghhh
