he had white beans and rice the other day, chicken and dumplings, corn, grilled cheese, waffles, turkey meat sticks, diced apples, and chicken. oh and bread. he loves bread.
Mostly baby food. I have replaced his Gerber puffs with Cheerios, which he is OK with, and I gave him a Cheeto Puff yesterday which he LOVED. I don't plan to make it a habit but it sure kept him busy while I made dinner.

Humus (homemade) on toast, waffles, pancakes, penne with veggies and red sauce, yogurt, turkey meatloaf, cheese and earth's best crackers, eggs, chicken parm, veggie burgers, DS basically eats what we eat.
My BFF (who has a 2 yr old) just told me tonight about waffles!
She did eggbeaters but my Dr. said to wait on eggs until 1 yr so I think I'll wait...
We tried string cheese. She hated it but she likes cubed cheese. Tonight I took a can of Campbells chicken and stars and rinsed it out in the strainer and then gave it to her with a little bit of water. (I at least tried to get rid of some of the sodium!)
This is the hardest part of parenting so far! Trying to figure out what to give her! Have you tried kiwi?
I should add that it's hard for me to let her 'eat what we eat' because if I eat its usually tuna and I don't want to give that to her yet and H eats a lot of turkey sandwiches. Before you judge us we are frantically trying to get our kitchen finished before her 1st b-day so we are "simple eaters" right now. lol
I bought beets, peas, carrots, apples, bananas and rice for her tonight that I will start on tomorrow. She is obsessed with picking things up herself.
we're pretty close to being on most table foods, but he still doesn't quite have chewing down. his new favorite is little pieces of fresh mozzarella cheese (the kind that comes packaged in water).
He loves blueberry waffles! My mom gave him a buttermilk one and he didn't quite know what to make of it though. He also likes pancakes - I bought the Eggo minis because I have yet to make a successful pancake myself.
