Trying again..
19lbs at 24w. I had gained about 11lbs by 16w. I'm not happy about it either and I have no problems talking weight. I was sick with bronchitis, then I sprained my ankle last week, plus my son had Croup last week so I've been out of the gym for two weeks. I also forgot what a vegetable was for a couple few weeks. I'm getting back on track now. I was back in the gym starting last Thursday. I might up my trainer to three times a week rather than just two.
Weight is an issue for a lot of women. I know a lot of women on here get all upitty about it but it's a very real concern and a valid topic of pg talk. It's ok to talk about how big and uncomfortable our boobs are yet no on e says it's all for the baby blah blah blah.
115 up to 130. All gained during 1st tri. Things have slowed down and I havent gained more yet. This happened w/ DD... I put on some body fat quick, then didn't gain much else till baby started growing faster.
I think I'm up about 18 pounds, I have an appt tomorrow, so we'll see. I've gained a lot between my last appointment and this one. I had one week where I was just starving. I'd finish eating and want to eat again. I was just so hungry. Maybe the baby was going through a growth spurt?
According to my scale at home, I am up 16. ?I was a little concerned about that number, but both of my doctors (my regular ob & my high-risk ob) said I am doing perfectly fine.
6 lbs, but I am a bit heavier than my ideal for starting this pregnancy. So trying to eat super healthy and be careful not to get too many empty calories.
I'm sitting around 20 so far. I started out underweight, so my ob is pleased. It's all in the "B"s (butt, boobs, belly)...something that I never had before and still aren't quite sure that I like them. Scratch that...I LOVE the belly, just not the other two.
I started at 107 lbs. and at the dr. today weighed 118 lbs. (11 lbs total). I didn't think that was too bad but the nurse said it was a little on the high side to gain 5 pounds in a month. I told her to get off my a** since I started out my last pregnancy with DD at 121 lbs. and I have not even hit that yet. My total weight gain with DD was 34 lbs. and I remember gaining 3 lbs. in a week towards the end. I am sure it had nothing to do with my immense cravings for anything chocolate in my 3rd tri.
Re: How much have you gained?-for those willing to share...
Pre-pregnancy weight was 121..
Up until week 19 I had gained nothing. Then at that appt I weighed like 124...
then 128...then back to 125..(4 weeks ago) and at my appt yesterday 136. I totally blurted out, "holy ***!" lol
The nurse was like maybe it's because of your swelling...thankkksssss
I know i'm still on the low end of weight gain, but i was kind of shocked. All of those weights were taken at the doctor's office.

Around 15 pounds, give or take 2 depending on the scale. I had a normal BMI to start with but am on the tall side.
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
