Unexplained fever

Anyone's baby have a fever with no other symptoms? ?My 8.5 month old has had a fever, sometimes over 103 degrees, since Saturday but otherwise no other symptoms. ?We went to the doctor yesterday and his ears are clear and he doesn't have cold symptoms. ?The fever of course was gone at the doctors, but came back shortly after. ?He didn't have a fever over night, but now it is back to 100-102 degrees this morning. ?We have to go for bloodwork tomorrow and I am worried. ?Anyone else have anything similar? ?

    C had this for 5 days last week. Between 103.5 and 104.3. She was 100% fine if on Tylenol or Motrin. A hot mess once it worse off. Pedi had me alternate every 3 hours and she was fine. My Mom had the same thing this week. Some random virus.

    Kate had this about two weeks ago. Her fever started on Sunday night. We took her to the doctor on Tuesday because it wasn't going away, and she said it was probably Roseola. The next day, Kate was covered in spots so we knew that is what it was.

     we had a similar experience.  even the dr didn't diagnose roseola b/c there wasn't a rash yet.  sure enough, 4 days after her fever started DD broke out in the rash.

    When DD has unexplained temps with no other symptoms it was UTI's.

    DD had this a few weeks ago.  Took her in the pedi at 103.1 and they found nothing.  That night it spiked to 105 and we were in the ER.  Tested for UTI and nothing.  Another day of lower fever 101-102 with Tylenol and then nothing.  No rash later either.  Just a random virus.
