So, I just got a call from my nurse from my Beta this morning and she said it's positive and I am pregnant and to order more PIO. She said my next beta will not be until next monday (8/17) and then she already scheduled my 1st ultrasound for (8/24). From what I have seen on most people's siggy's is that they do another beta 48 hours later to make sure it's rising. Why would they wait a whole week for mine? Also, she did not give me a number (she probably didn't want me obsessing over it, which I would have) I guess I should have asked while I was on the phone with her, but of course I didn't and now I have all these questions.
Re: More Beta questions (pg mentioned)
congratulations!!
i'm usually of the mindset that what you don't know can't hurt you and sometimes too much information isn't good. so, i agree w/pp's that suggest that your number is so high you don't need to worry and that you don't need a 48 hour check. but, just to be sure, you could call and find out why your RE office doesn't do what seems to be std. to you from your research.
It's probably b/c your numbers are high that they are not concerned about bringing you back in 48 hrs.
It doesn't necessarily need to be 48 hrs later.... I had 72 hrs between #1 and #2, and 10 days between #2 and #3. They can use calculators (you can find them online too) that will tell you what your doubling time is, rregardless of whether it's 48 hrs or not.
Congrats!!

I called and the nurse told me it was 354, which I think is pretty good. I am 11dp5dt. She also said they always wait a week to do another beta.
