Do you think it says "black cat" enough?
I would put it with a black long sleeve tee or leotard and some black tights/shoes....then she could just reuse the tutu for play.

I think if you draw a nose & whiskers, you're good. Without that it's a little harder to tell.

I think it's really cute! DD wore something similar last year. There are pics in my blog (link in siggy, I'd do it, but I'm posting from my phone). I used an embellished leo, black tights, patent mary janes, and tied marabou around the waist of the tutu and hung the rest down behind her as a tail.
