Circ...and adhesions

DS had his circumcision around 2 days old...and he is now almost 10 months old.  At his last appointment, the pedi said it looked like the foreskin was still adhering and told us to continue pulling back (we had been doing this all along).  We're still continuing to do that...and now right around the head is reddened and definitely painful to DS.  We've been applying bacitracin ointment to it with each diaper change, after we pull back, but it's not looking any better (but not worse)...and DS screams with each diaper change.

Should he be seen by a urologist...or should we just call the pedi tomorrow?  I'm worried about infection and scar tissue  :(  Poor little guy.

    call the pedi, sorry baby is in pain! mikey was like that and now i feel like i would think twice before doing it to another son...

    I would call your pedi.  DS has had 2 adhesion sin the past, but when they were corrected he never acted like he was in pain.  It was red for a day or two, but he never cried or anything when I changed his diaper.

    I'm sorry your lO is going through this:o(  Definitely continue to gently pull the skin back after baths and apply vaseline at every diaper change.
