Starting solids..

Tell me all about it. What food did you start with? I'm assuming rice cereal, but after rice cereal then what? Is there a time frame for introducing new foods? How often to feed solids? DD has her 6 month checkup coming up soon so obivously I will run all of this by her pedi. I don't plan on starting her on solids until after I speak to him. I was just curious as to what everyone else has experienced. TIA.
