How do you guys make such adorable banners for your blogs?

Forgive me as I'm new to blogging and have trouble when I learn a new techie thing. Where do you guys create your things? I don't have photoshop, but my mom does if I absolutely need it. Then, how do I import it? It gave me the option of putting in a center picture, and that's all. BTW, I use blogspot.

Yep! You have to use IE (we use Firefox). Then save as .jpg, then insert it as a picture.
It took some trial and error for me, but eventually it turned out well!

We actually only have firefox and safari...does this mean everything I just did won't save? LOL
