  Actually I had less s/e and produced better results from it. Although I haven't gotten a + hpt, my b/w has come back better each time and I consistently ovulate each cycle with femera.

  I had horrible side effects on clomid and switched to femara on this cycle. Not one side effect the entire time!

  I did not have any side effects on Femara.  I'm on Clomid this cycle, and haven't had any side effects on that either.

  I had no side effects with either.  Theoretically Femara is supposed to thin your lining less and affect cervical mucus less than clomid.  I ovulated with both earlier than I ovulate on my own.  With clomid I had one dominant follicle each month and with Femara (equivalent dose) 2/3 cycles also had one dominant follie.  The last cycle had two.  All were BFN, some with IUI and some TI.  I am on IVF now and have had very few side effects there either (only bloating and constipation since the ER) so maybe I just don't have many side effects.  Good luck

  I am usually just a lurker on this board but am currently taking Femara for the first time.  I've had a few hot flashes but that's it.  GL!

  TTC since August 2008 4 cycles Femara = BFN Dx PCOS February 2010, 1000 mg Metformin XR IUI #1: Dexamethasone + Femara + Ovidrel + Progesterone = BFN IUI #2: Dexamethasone + Femara + Ovidrel + Progesterone = BFP! Our son arrived January 17, 2011!
