Mega Clogged Duct! Does IB Profin make it worse...

aside from easing the pain? 

I seem to remember a recommendation to stay away from something with a clog, but I want to make sure it's not IB Profin before I down SEVERAL of them.

    i had one on thurs and it sucked. I took IB profen and it didnt do much for the pain. And to top it off DS wouldnt nurse since not much was coming out. I finally had to lay down to nurse him and kinda hang over him to let gravity help and it finally went away after 18 hours of pain. Im sorry =(

    I am not sure about the ibuprofin but I will say that a heating pad, the pump, and lots of nursing is the only way for me to relieve a clog.  And the last 2-3 times I had a bleb on my nipple that caused the clog.  Once I popped it (gross!) I pumped like 6 oz from that one side!

    I've only had a clogged duct maybe 3 times and what really helped me was getting on all fours and pumping the sh*t out of that boob.  Yeah, you look real stupid but it works!  Good luck!
