If DS has had pancakes (with egg in it) and didn't have a reaction...

can I assume that he wouldn't have a reaction if he ate an egg by itself?  I haven't planned on doing it yet, and if I give him an egg, I'm going to start with the egg yolk, but I was just curious.  TIA!  Smile

    I've been meaning to ask this same question.  I thought maybe I was missing something somewhere.  We have given ds the yolk, he wasn't interested.  But I haven't ventured into scrambled eggs yet.

    Nope - never assume anything with food allergies.  A child can eat a food 10 times without a reaction and suddenly one day have an anaphylactic reaction.

    I'm really late ont this, but my understanding is that they can have things with eggs in them, but still shouldn't have whole eggs by themselves...
