do you always give/send a gift when invited to a wedding?

Maybe we are cheap or lazy or mean or whatever, but if we are invited to, but do not attend a wedding, we don't give or send a gift. Not even money.

I think etiquette-ly speaking, that is incorrect.

If I like you, yes. LOL.... I was invited to my bro's ex-fiance's wedding this past weekend and I declined without sending a gift. ?She's a weirdo.

We do send a gift. However I drew the line with two weddings we got "uninvites" to this past year. DH's cousin who he hasn't spoken to (or heard from at all) in years. I've never even met him...we got an invite to and it was an OOT wedding. Another one for a family friend of DH's from growing up's daughter... we don't even know them (another OOT)so no, I can't afford gifts for people who have don't even know us!
