Anybody not have the orange drink for the GD test?

I went in for mine a few days ago, expecting the orange sugary nastiness and was instead given a soft-drink sort of thing that tasted exactly like 7-up. It was delicious!

I told the woman who gave it to me that I was expecting something gross and she said that everyone says that, but she has no idea why because she's been doing the 7-up-like-soft-drink thing for over 20 years.

Is the orange stuff just an American thing?

I had a choice of flavors for mine...but the orange is not actually nasty at all. I don't know why everyone says that.

It depends on your office.. we had 3 choices.. Cola, lemonlime (7up) or the orange one

I had the orange stuff this morning...it was like super sweet extra fizzy orange pop. I've had heartburn all day.

I had to do my twice because I moved and my new doc didn't like when I took the test. The first time, I had orange and it tasted fine. The second time, I had fruit punch and it was gross!

I had an orange one for the 1 hour that was not too bad. For the 3 hour I had a nasty "Coke" flavor...yuck!

I got the lemon-lime one too this time.... i was expecting the orange, since it's the one I've had with the previous 4. The lady looked at me like they always give that one, but i know for a fact they did the orange cause i used the same lab with the last two.

I had the fruit punch and it reminded me of Hawaiian Punch...I liked it just fine. The three hour fruit punch stuff was much sweeter and I didn't like it so much.

i had a fruit punch flavor... i had that option or orange. and it didn't taste that bad, frankly. i was pleasantly surprised!

I am doing mine next week and they are going to give me a choice between the orange and the red. I think I had the clear with my first child. I'm probably going to choose the red this time.

I had the 7-up/lemon-lime tasting one, too.

I wouldn't say I thought it was delicious, but I definitely didn't think it was THAT bad, the way people talk about it on here you'd think it was like death in a bottle.

I had the orange with DD I thought it tasted like sunny D wasn't nasty at all. This time around I had the clear 7-up drink and didn't mind it at all either?

Mine was red, not orange. I can't say it tasted good, but it wasn't that bad.

I had the orange stuff, but I was expecting to have to drink a vat or it or something. It was just a tiny cup, smaller than my hand. I thought she was kidding after all I'd read about how awful it was! It was not bad at all.

I had the clear 7-up one it wasn't bad at all. I don't think it would become my new favorite drink or anything, but still not bad at all.

I had a choice of orange or lemon/lime. I had the LL but I really hated it. I don't drink soda, and I especially hate sweet drinks!

I had the orange one, and really didn't mind it but they gave it to me cold. From talking to other women, I think having it cold vs. warm makes a huge difference.

I got to chose orange or lemon. I chose lemon and it was JUST like 7-up but thicker. Much better than the orange crap I had with DD!

Not me, I got something light that tasted like fruit punch and it was actually refreshing and tasted good. I was so thirsty I downed it in 5 seconds.

I had the orange drink just this morning and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be either. It tasted like an orange flavored Jones soda just without the carbonation. The worst part was coming home and feeling a bit shaky from an over sugar rush.

I had the lemon lime one and while it was super sweet, it really wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I did feel really tired afterwards though.

Mine tasted exactly like Coke. Fizz and all. I don't drink soda anymore so it was a treat actually!

I had the fizzy orange for the one hr and it wasn't bad at all. I had the non-fizzy lemon-lime for the 3 hr and it was much thicker and sweeter. I felt a little sick about 2hrs into the test. At least both were cold.
