kinda a bummer - going to visit the parents at their new house in FL next week and they have a pool...
my re's office indicated no, as the endometrin dissolves slowly and gets absorbed - she said that too much of it might get washed away/lost if I go swimming- I would use a tampon, but I'm very nervous about infections up there since apparently that was a factor in my m/c -
i thought they would laugh when I called with this question...
Re: so no swimming on the endometrin
I asked my doctor the same question this morning and he told me it was okay... as long as I was just sort of floating around in the pool and not doing laps or anything.
However, I probably won't go in the pool anyway since I'm worried that the discharge would be visable. Yuck.
IVF #1-4=BFN IVF #5=BFP! U/S on 5/3 revealed TWINS!
Couldn't you go swimming like mid-morning (around 12 hrs after insertion) and then use another supp when you're done swimming??
I don't know... I'm not a Dr or anything. I had just put in a supp one night and then DH wanted some lovin - nervous about what may or may not have leaked out afterward... I just put in another supp. (i have a lot of them)
Well - that's what I would do anyway. Go swimming and take another supp when you're done.

yeah - I'm on 2x a day
I mean it's my parent's pool and only family are going to be there so it's not like I would be tainting a public pool, but still....
maybe I'll just get a floaty and lie on it
If you take too much its harmless - cant you just pop another one in after you swim awhile? I dont think I could turn down a pool on a hot day!
