Infertility

So we have a tenative plan

Morning ladies. I've been good about not spending all my unemployed time on here (although let me tell you...it's been suuuper hard not too!!!). But I have been behaving. Yay me. Anyway, since it's been a month of no job, we have decided on a few things.

1) I am taking the plunge and going back to school. In numerous polls on here I've stated that I wish I hadn't done business and I regretted changing my major from education in college to biz. So...I'm actually taking that step. I am really excited about it. I'm only taking a couple classes this semester with the hope that I can still find a full time job.

2) We figured out our finances a little more and came up with the fact that we will most likely have to put any more IUI or things like that on hold unless I can get a job making close to what I had been making. We will still be able to do (monitered) clomid cycles but I am going to focus on losing 25 lbs. I'm hoping that the loss will help. I have been just not feeling good about myself with everything that has gone on in the last few months and I'm hoping that this will help jumpstart us in the right direction.

3) And my favorite part....there is a slight, very small chance that we might be able to move home to Chicago!!!! We haven't really worked anything out to do it, but if we were able to be back home, I'd be sooooo happy. DH's contract expires at the beginning of Sept, and he still has a job if he wants to stay here. I'm sure he wants to continue working on the project he's designing so I wouldn't think we'd just pack up and move....but I'm getting excited about the possibility of being closer to moving home than I though we were.

  • You know I love my ChiGirls!!! Big Smile Thanks for the encouragment. I've had my bad days of course, but I had to look at the situation and figure out what was going to make me(us) happiest. 1) a job I love and want to do 2) where do I want to live 3) how do I want to look (sort of vain) but the health benefits are much better for me too. Of course the thing that would make me crazy happy is a baby. We're not stopping the train, not when we're 21 months into it, but hopefully this little semi-treatment break helps.
