What's the deal with their IVF class? My RE was insistent that DH needs to attend. Of course he's stupid busy at work and a 3 hour class in the middle of the work week is tough. What did you learn and does dh really need to go?

Re: Cornell IVFer's
DH and I went together but it was our first IVF. They go over all the meds and giving injections, who to call when, where to report for what, how it all works, different studies that are going on, etc.
There were women there w/o DH and since you've done IVF before I think you can go alone and I'm assuming your DH knows how to give injections (if you weren't doing them yourself).
I think it is fine if he doesn't come. They give you a folder with all the info and a copy of the power point that they do, say he's going and go alone, you'll be fine

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
