Trigger for IVF cycle

I was told by my RE to do the trigger at exactly 6:30 tonight because my ER is at 6:30am on Friday.  I rushed home from work and started trying to mix the trigger and was having some trouble with air bubbles.  By the time I actually finished the injection, it was between 6:40-6:45. Do you think those 10-15 min are a big enough deal that I should call and tell them tomorrow?  I'm so mad at myself right now :(

  • I can't imagine it would make a difference.  If it was me I wouldn't call. But there wouldn't be any harm in it if you did. I'm sure they are used to people getting nervous about everything!

  • I definitely don't think you need to call.  In the scheme of that many hours, 10 minutes don't make a difference.

  • The same exact thing happened to me when I triggered!! I was having the hardest time mixing the shot and it took much longer than expected. I was supposed to trigger at 9:45pm and it ended up being 10:00pm. I was all freaked out and it was too to call the dr's office. I never ended up telling them. I don't think the ten minutes should be that big of a problem, but if you are really worried call your doc.

  • Thanks everyone!  I was freaking out before, but after your posts, it really makes me think how much difference can 10-15 min really make?  Thanks for calming me down :)
