i hate the news. (kind of disturbing)

i don't know if you have read about the mom in long island who drove the wrong way on the highway and killed her 2 yo daughter, 3 nieces, herself, and 3 men in another vehicle, but i saw it this morning and was thoroughly disgusted. 

they played a clip from the little girls' funeral, and the dad (the woman's brother) was speaking, and it was just devastating.  i had to pic shepherd up and hug him, and i was crying.  i am just a completely different person since having him.  news stories have never touched me like this. :(

 she had a BAC of .19 and high levels of THC in her system.  and she still had undigested alcohol in her stomach.  why would a person get in the car with 4 little kids in that condition? :(  it is so disgusting.

    What? I will not read it but that is very sad. Drunk drivers make me very angry.

    I just heard about this today.  This is actually not that far from where I live.  Scary.

    I was wondering what happened with that story. I couldn't imagine doing that & I can't imagine what that family is going through.

    This has been all over our local news since it happened. It was such a sad story and everyone was trying to figure out what happened and why. It was so heartbreaking. Yesterday they release the toxicology reports and you could tell the newscaster was so disgusted and upset to be telling the blood alcohol/marijuana levels, etc. That is inexcusable to do when it's just you in the car and you can risk hurting others, but when you also are driving your child and someone else's three children...So insanely sad for those poor kids! I can't imagine being her brother and losing your three kids, neice, and sister all because she was drunk.

    What's worse is she called her brother and said something was wrong. He told her to stay where she was and he'd come to her... and yet she still drove off...

    jeebus.  what a sad waste.  I hadn't heard that she was drunk.  I can't believe what people will do.  All those poor people who died, because of one stupid b!tch.  grrr.

    Sad  that is so sad.

    natalie morales looked like she was about to cry when she was reporting this morning.  i wouldn't blame her.

    I have quit watching the news altogether b/c it bothers me so much. I never know what is going on, but it made me really depressed. This breaks my heart. I am always astonished by how selfish people are. There isn't much more selfish that driving drunk.

    Horrible. It's big news here. I drive that road all the time. I am so disgusted that she was drunk.... what the hell was she thinking?  3 families destroyed.
