DH and I had been TTC sincd Dec. 08. In May I was diagnosed with chronic annovulatory cycles (progesterone was at 1.5) and put on Clomid (50 mg) for my June cycle. That month, still no O (progesterone was 3.0). The next month, I was on Clomid (100 mg) and did O (progesterone level was 21.6) and got my BFP!
My first appointment is Aug. 18th but it is really just a "getting ot know the practice" class that is required and is supposed to help answer any questions. Truly my real appointment is not until Aug. 31st (I'd be about 8 weeks) and it's because it is standard practice for my doc to see you and do a medical history, physical, and u/s between 8-10 weeks.

QOTD: We go KU on our 1st try. I had my 1st appointment yesterday at 5wks 5days but only saw the sac and i vaguely remember her saying the yolk was there too. No fetus :0( So we're thinking i may be earlier than expected. ( i posted yesterday about it). Hopefully all is well and things are right where they are supposed to be, and not a non viable pg.

This was our third cycle TTC with DS IUIs. Our first appointment is today! I'm nervous and excited and think I might puke - lol!
Figured I should answer my own question! We started TTC in January 09 and this was our 7th cycle, I was starting to get nervous since my cycle was so by the book. My first appt is at 8 weeks for internal u/s and pap.

We were planning on actively TTC starting next month but we got a little suprise this month and we couldn't be happier.
I thought my first appointment was going to be yesterday (at least that is what the receptionist said), however it was just a confirmation appointment so my first appointment won't be until I'm 10-12 weeks. I thought that I would have an earlier appointment given my history so I might call and see if they can get me in sooner.
Edited to Add: Just talked to the doctor and I'm getting bloodwork done on Monday (10th) and an ultrasound on Aug. 20th. So excited. I can't wait!
April 4th-DD
QOTD: We were TTC off and on for a year. We quit a couple months ago, because DH has diverticulitis and had to have surgery. This is the second time in 2 years he's had the surgery, so that's why we were so on and off again with TTC. This is def. a miracle, as we only had sex twice in 3/4 months. It came as a complete shock, but we had been praying for this to happen. I mainly thought we were praying for this months cycle!!!
I go to the dr. on the 25th. I can't believe I have to wait 20! freaking days. I have a RE that I saw a long time ago, for something else. I wasn't ttc then. Anyway, I talked to him about my pg and he said since I'm high-risk, he would love to do my HcG levels yesterday, tomorrow and Sat. He also offered a few ultrasounds to make sure everything looked okay. I decided Monday night that I wouldn't go through with that, because I'd be spending a lot of money on something that wouldn't make a difference, only give me a peace of mind. If someone was going to happen, it would happen whether or not I had those tests done. So, I'm just waiting until the 25th! It's taking forever.
This was our second month TTC
My first appt isn't until the last week of August, it's hard to wait!

QOTD: DH and I were on a TTC break after my m/c back in March. Then we decided to start trying again in July and got KU that cycle. My first appointment is August 20th.

QOTD: We have been off BC since April/May of 08. I started charting in August 08 and got my first BFP in Nov. I m/c at about 5w although the dr thought I was closer to 6w based on my LMP, but I had ovulated really late. Anyway, after that I had a few annovulatory cycles, but got back to normal in April, and got my BFP 11 dpo last Wednesday!
I go for a "confirmation appt" tomorrow- not sure what that means. I think they will just do a urine test and give me a script for bloodwork to check my betas. I'm sure I'll be able to ask a lot of questions and get plenty of info. I think it will be another two or three weeks after that until I get a sonogram or anything!

How long had you been TTC - We'd been charting and TTC for 12 months, which was about 10 cycles.
When is your first appt - I already had my first appointment ... an information meeting with the nurse. My first appointment with my doctor is September 8 - where I'll have blood tests, urine tests and will (hopefully) hear a heartbeat!!!

My DH and I had been TTC for 1 yr. We were supposed to go in for the three day blood test to start looking at what the problem was and missed it because I got my period over the fourth and the office was closed down so the lab couldn't be ordered. I was so disappointed. We decided to take a month off and low and behold...here I am! It's an amazing feeling and I feel so blessed.
My first appt. is Sept 4.

I had been TTC for 14 cycles. I just had a lap/hysteroscopy on July 1st. My first appt. is Monday (the 10th). Even though I had TTTC this is just how my doc's office does the first appt. It's only with my nurse practioner and not the OB just yet.

Off BCP in May 2007; DX PCOS in May 2008; TTC and ovulating on Met since July/August 2008; successful BFP on Femara + Trigger July 2009. Already had two betas and my first u/s is August 14...TTTC.
So exciting to see this list!
QOTD: We weren't really "trying" at all...but weren't preventing either. My first appt. is on the 27th and I'll be almost 8 weeks then. With my first PG I didn't find out until I was over 6 wks so it is hard for me to know so early and have to wait so long for an appt!

We had been TTC for 6 months. I haven't called my doc yet, so I don't have an appointment date yet. I guess I should go ahead and call them! I'm 5 weeks today, so they'll probably see me at 8w if they have space for me then. This is my 2nd baby.

This was our third cycle of TTC. I am waiting for my OB to call me back to set up an appointment.
I'm so glad you are doing this! Super exciting!
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 8/08 and wasn't TTC but wasn't avoiding it either since I didn't ovulate. Started a new job in April, and did my first (and successful) round of Clomid in July. I met with a midwife yesterday and decided to go with their practice. My first appt is Aug 24th.
I'm so excited to have a group of women to share with!
Looks like my age was missed... Age - 26. Sorry about that.
Received my BFP on 3rd cycle off of BCP. It was somewhat unexpected because my cycles have been all over the place since getting off of the pills. First cycle off was 30 days, second was 52 days, BFP on day 30 of 3rd cycle. First appt is Aug 21st. I will be about 7 weeks.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

We have been TTC since May, but our timing was really crappy up until this last cycle due to the fact that I work 3rd shift. I had convinced myself that we were out for this month, too, but took a test anyway on CD 30 and got a +!
My first doctor's appointment isn't until 9/23. My doctor doesn't see her pg patients until between 10-12 weeks, I'll be 11 1/2 weeks then. I know, it sucks! I do have an appointment with an nurse over the phone at 8 weeks on 9/9.
