Since we were talking Disney...

Are you planning to bring your full sized stroller or your umbrella stroller?  Those who have gone - any words of wisdom on the stroller situation.  My umbrella stroller reclines most of the way.  Lynda is really good at napping in her stroller (either one - she just looks more comfortable in the full sized) and we do not plan on leaving during the day to go back to the hotel to nap.

We are not park hopping - one park per day for us taking it nice and slow.

Re: Since we were talking Disney...

  • i didnt take my umbrella stroller b/c it was more uncomfortable for madys afternoon nap. i took my chicco trevi - i wouldnt dream of going to the park in my evenflo travel system full size stroller - that would have sucked!

we didnt go to the hotel for nap time but we did go back to the hotel around 6pm to shower, rest, mady took another nap (out of exhaustion lol), and then we went back for thr firework show. that i do think you should take advantage of.

  • I took my regular stroller, my bigger graco one. It just seemed more roomy and cozy for Alex to sleep in. I will bring the same one for Max!

  • Good question! We have the sit and stand (which I hate!), but we are also in the process of looking for another stroller for Alejandro, we are thinking the Chicco Cortina and Gaby already has the Chicco Capri....so we will connect both with that connection thing they sell at BRU. No need in buying another double stroller and spending all that money when Gaby will soon out grow it. For now that is the plan....lets see come October what we do! Wink

  • i';ll probably bring my umbrella stroller. she doesnt' really nap in either stroller anyway, so if she's that tired, i figure she'll be able to pass out even if she's not reclined.

  • We took the big stroller for a few reasons - #1 napping comfort and space. We brought food with us and it was cold in the mornings when we went so the basket at the bottom of our stroller was a lifesaver. We would have had to carry everything otherwise.

  • i think we're taking both... the big one for the parks (since we're not staying at the resorts, we're staying at a time share by universal and probably won't leave all day :-/ ) and the umbrella for outings to downtown disney and stuff.  but we'll see how she is in a few months!
  • We took our big stroller.  For comfort and also b/c is has a good size basket in the bottom which I put to good use ;)
  • When we first went to Disney w/L (he was almost 6 mo old) DH didn't want to take our Graco, so we ended buying the Peg Perego Aria which has been our main stroller since then. It's a good-sized stroller, L can comfortably nap in it, it's lightweight, and closes and opens easily for the trams, etc. And it also had a decent basket (however, the lack of cup holders on the top sucks!)
  • Oh, and not sure if you know, but all 4 parks have Baby Centers which are AWESOME! The changing tables are awesome and comfy and clean; they have high chairs, microwaves, and even knick-knacks you might need (diapers, cream, wipes, sun screen, jarred food, etc.)
  • I haven't brought our full size stroller since our trip last November. And what a mistake!  If you have an umbrella stroller that reclines then take that. I love traveling with my Quest. I will never go to Disney without it! Ok when Mikey is old enough then I guess I won't make him go in a stroller LOL
