beta #1 results w/in :)

i received the phone call this afternoon a little after 1 pm CDT that it was positive (they were duly surprised that i didn't succumb and poas, either). our beta # is 62.4. they want me to come in thurs. for my next check, but am booked solid w/a big work-meeting w/exec's. so i asked the nurse to check w/the dr. and see if fri. is okay.

so, they told me that after th/fr, my next beta check is next tues. and then nothing until the u/s (@6 wks?). is that all the more anyone else did?

wow, i just can't believe it. i gotta admit, it is hard not to just fly with it. i want to stay positive, but, i don't want to open myself up to any huge disappointments, either. the "cautiously expecting" posts and tickers that people share, applies, but i'm just not as cautious, quite at this moment.
