What is LO sleeping in when you get home from hospital?

We have a PNP in our room and her crib in her room, and I'm wondering if we should buy something else, like a co-sleeper or something for LO.  What is your LO sleeping in right when you get home?

  • This PNP with the co-sleeper attachment. She'll move to the basinnet attachment next, then? Not a clue. Our apartment is to effing small!!

  • We have the PnP with the newborn napper and she will sleep in that as long as she can, then move to just the bassinet part of the PnP, then eventually her crib!

  • Bassinett. If I didnt get one for free though, I woulda gotten a PnP with the bassinett attatched. Im not sure how I feel about her sleeping in bed with me, I might try to limit that.
  • Bassinet next to our bed.
  • We would like to put him in his crib from the start, but we are taking it one day at a time. We will move the PnP up to our bedroom if it's not working out for him or me.
Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

  • A basinett/cradle someone is lending us. Only because our pnp is not purchased yet due to the completion coupon doesn't come until after you have the baby.?

  • we have a basinette that has been in the family for like 60 years.  my mom and I were both in it, now it's LO's turn!  it will be next to the bed for a couple of weeks, then to the crib in their nursery.
  • Arms reach original co-sleeper in our bedroom and a PnP in the living room.  He'll get a crib when we move to our new place in Jan.
  • We have a family cradle for the first month or two I'll keep next to our bed. We have a PnP for naps/travel on the first floor. After 1-2 months we'll decide about co-sleeping or move her to a crib. Not sure yet.

  • In her crib. If it's hard at first with breast feeding me and her will sleep in the living room.?
  • I put DD in her crib from the first day she came home. DD#2 will be the same. We have the PNP if that doesn't work out but it didn't come to that before so we are not anticipating any problems this time.
  • PNP in the bassinet attachment in our room at night. I may put her in her crib for a bit during the daytime though so she gets familiar with it, but I think it will be easier BFing to have her right beside me at night. Plus, I 've heard that newborns feel comforted by small spaces since that is what they are used to, it helps them feel more secure & protected or something.

  • We are doing a PNP in our room and a crib in the LO's room
  • I wouldn't spend the extra money. The PNP will work just as well.  GL
  • Well we have a bassinet this time around.  DS hated the PNP and his crib so he slept in his swing for the first 3 months!!!  This baby will sleep wherever we can get him/her to sleep! (hopefully the bassinet)

  • PNP for the first little while then his crib.
  • When she is sleeping during the day, we plan to put her in the crib.  Then at night, my mom found a practically new bassinet for $10 at a garage sale.  I plan to put her in there at night so I don't have to go to far to feed her.  We will try that for a couple weeks and see how that works.

  • Ideally?  His crib.
  • Co-sleeper at night in our room and in the pack n play downstairs during the day.
  • His crib in his own room.

  • Her bassinet by our bed, unless we get the co-sleeper we registered for.

  • We got a free bassinet from my step-sister, so that.  Otherwise we were planning on getting a PnP with a bassinet.  He'll sleep in his crib after that.
  • I was thinking a PNP in our room but am now thinking her crib might be better so I don't have to worry about transition.  I may be sleeping in her room if I put her in the crib from the start.  I guess I'll have to see how I feel after she comes home from the hospital.

  • Probably her bed unless she has an unusually fussy night, then she will sleep in the pnp in our room.
  • We will probably start him right in his crib.    We also have a PNP with bassinet attachment if we decide to go that route.  But I don't see any reason not to put him right in the crib.

Same here.  My moms friend gave her a Eddie Bauer bassinet that her grandchild only slept in a few times.  She washed it all up and i'll put it next to the bed at night at first.

  • We planned on crib from day one.

We ended up sending my parents out for a co-sleeper mini when we left the hospital and she's slept in that every night (she naps in her crib so she's used to it).
