I recently cut us back to $60 a week and it is so hard to stick to such a tight budget. We used to spend $100, but really that is a little outrageous for 2 people IMO.
It varies to be honest. Some weeks we stock up on meat and different things for the freezer, or if something is on sale so that week would be higher, but then the next few weeks is lower so it balances out.
We spend about $140-150 every two weeks, so I guess about $75 per week on average. I plan to start cutting coupons when LO comes and $$ is tighter, but the places where we normally shop don't usually take general mdse coupons.
Between $100-150 but we hardly ever eat out and buy a lot of organic food. I wish I could cut it down but for the 3 of us, thats the best I've been able to do!!!
I hate going grocery shopping so I try to only go once a month (I do go get milk about once a week though), but we usually spend $450 or so. It is only DH and I, but it seems like we always have people over eating.

It's hard to say...we probably do a big Whole Foods grocery shopping every 10-14 days at about $250 and then supplement with stops there for fresh things or a quick run to Kroger spending around $40-50 per week. We do buy mostly organic foods though.
Oh my gosh, we'd be so proud of ourselves if we could stick to $100/week. It's just not possible - we're proud of ourselves that we've gotten it down to about $125/week on average. We used to spend $150+/week.
We're saving a bit now since we don't buy wine/beer like we used to, but we eat all fresh fruits/veggies and lean meats, plus we buy things like toilet paper and paper towels at the grocery store. And we both take our lunch to work every day (10 lunches per week), so that really ups the grocery bill.

Way way way way way too much, LOL! I can't fathom ever being able to stick to a strict grocery budget. We've tried everything under the sun and have basically said "F it", lol. We're trying something new this month (yet another attempt) so we'll see how this one goes, haha.

We've found that buying fresh foods actually save us money. We basically don't buy any of the "pre-packaged" foods. We do buy frozen pizzas though. Basically, try to stay on the outer perimeter of the store. Obviously you will have to go down the aisles for seasonings, sauces, etc.
We also buy a Sunday paper every week. It's $1.75 and we usually get about $20 worth of coupons from it. Also, find a store that doubles coupons.
And the best way to save money. Make a list and stick to it. We spend a lot less when we make a list instead of just going to the store.
Same- we use a bunch of coupons and buy things on sale. We also do a TON of "one-pan" meals, so that's cheaper.

our budget is $75 a week for groceries, cleaning, and cat items. We're often under budget, but we also bought 1/4 side of beef in the spring, so that isn't in our week-to-week expense. We usually eat something with the beef 1-2 times per week.

When we started using coupons, and shopping the "circulars" to get deals on meat, buy in bulk and use our freezer, we cut our bill from about $500 per month to closer to $250-300. So, $60-75. This still allows for the occasional indulgence like sundried tomatoes, fancy mushrooms, good olive oil, etc. Also, shopping a farm stand or the farmer's market for more of our produce has made a huge difference. We hardly buy any grocery store produce anymore.
Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.
We spend $100-$130 a week for the two of us and our two cats. We get a local organic CSA box of fruit and veggies every week, and all other shopping is done at Whole Foods.
In the US we spend a far smaller percentage of our income on food than in most other wealthy Western countries. And people still call us fat!
It varies, but our usual weekly bill is probably around $75, and sometimes we'll buy additional things throughout the week. But if we're spending more on groceries, that's because we're cooking at home and thus not eating out... so it balances!

That's because in the US we also have plentiful options for cheap food that's really bad for us! Like $1 meals at fast food restaurants

Can I say that it also depends on where you live and how expensive it is in the area?
Very good point. I am sure if we bought the same exact foods yours would be more expensive. KY isn't the most expensive place to live. haha.
now I feel bad-we spend at least 150 a week
and I don't cook dinner every day, and don't bring lunch food from home to work
