Officially introducing myself! (PCOS)

Hi everyone!  I've posted here and there and just wanted to say hello!  DH and I have been TTC since 9/08 and in May I was diagnosed with PCOS.  If this cycle is a bust, then it's off to an RE I go!  So far Clomid has been unsuccessful for me.  I'm hoping that Metformin helps this cycle.  I look forward to getting to know you girls and best of luck to all!!

    I wish I could tell you.... I just started taking it on Friday (I wasn't kidding when I said I was new Smile.  I'm anxious to find out myself.

    Hypoglycemic | thyroid issues | severely anemic
    Multiple Clomid cycles of 50, 100, 150 - absolutely no response
    Follistim 50/100 | Follistim 75/125 | Follistim 100/150 IUI - all BFNs
    Converted IVF - BFP - m/c | FET - BFN | IVF #2 = BFN

    Hello. I also just found out I have PCOS, among other things. I too just started taking Met. This is just the end of my first week. So far no issues. My RE said I had to be on them at least 3 weeks before we cycled. But I wonder if we should wait a bit longer so they take more effect.

    I just wanted to say Hi and Welcome! Everyone here is awesome and so supportive, I don't have any experience with PCOS, but I know the ladies who do are more than willing to help you out. Hope your stay is short and sweet!
