Anyone else's Diaper Genie 2 suck?

Ours would get stuck all the time and now it's just plain broken and we need a new one. ?Anyone else have this problem or did we get a dud? ?Trying to decide if we should get a new one or not...

    We have the Elite, which I think is the same?  It gets stuck all the time for me, but DH never seems to have the same problem.  I must hit the foot thing too hard or something.

    If you get a new diaper disposer I would recommend the Diaper Champ.  It's worked great so far for us and you can use regular trashbags (I could be wrong but I thought the Diaper Genie has specific trashbags you have to use).  Anyways, it's kept us happy.

    We have the DG Elite and I haven't had a problem with it sticking.  I did have a problem with our Diaper Champ sticking.

    We have the DG II and the DG II Elite and both have been working great. We've had the DG II for 2.5ys and DG II Elite for almost 9mos. Love them both! The sell the bags for them at HEB so it hasn't been an issue to get them, I just add them to the grocery list. One roll usually lasts me about a month.

    I vote for Diaper Champ.  It isn't perfect but I like it better than the Diaper Genie.

    Thanks, we'll definitely look into the champ too. ?Stinkin genie has been broken way too much in 4 months.
