Any concerns I should have about buying used baby stuff?

I plan on buying DS a used jumperoo off of CL. I might look for some other similar items as well. Any concerns or things I should watch for when buying used?

    You might want to check recall lists.  I buy used stuff all the time-so much cheaper!

    I would try and see if the product had been recalled in the past. Also, see if the former owners still have the manuel so you can make sure all the parts are there. (Sometimes you can get it off the?manufacturer's?website.)

    If you don't have pets, you might want to get one from a pet free home. A smoke free home would be even better.?

    Good idea about the manual! I'm def looking for pet/smoke free too.
