Any tricks to combat heartburn?

I'm thankful it hasn't hit until now.  But it is here in full force.

Does anyone have any tricks to keep heartburn at bay?

    I munch on Tums when heartburn strikes; it seems to do the trick for me.  :)

    go to walmart and get the generic zantac.. its call ranitadine 150mg... its safe for pregnancy and its AMAZING! take it 1/2 hour before you eat to prevent heartburn or whenever it hits to get rid of it. trust me! call ur doc if u wanna be safe but i know its safe cuz im on it!

    July 2011: Unmedicated cycle = BFP! on August 29th, 2011
    Nov 6th 2011: m/c due to subchorionic hematoma
    Dec 2011: Start TTC again, unmedicated
    February 12th, 2012: BFP! EDD 10/23/12
    Mar 12th 2012: diagnosed as blighted ovum

    Tums plus I stopped drinking OJ if I don't have food to eat after it.
